Uses a MCP9808 temperature sensor. acurate to 0.25 degrees C. i2c interface, avoids the calibration calculation hassles. ±0.25°C over a wide range from -40°C to +125°C. 2.7V and 5.5V.
The thermal imaging capability is provided by the AMG8833 infrared thermal temperature sensor array, which features an 8x8 grid of 64 pixels, allowing for two-dimensional temperature detection. This sensor can measure temperatures ranging from 0°C to 80°C with an accuracy of ±2.5°C. It has a maximum detection distance of 7 meters and can operate at a frame rate of up to 10Hz. The sensor communicates via the I2C interface and can be powered with either 3.3V or 5V.
The barometric pressure is measured using the BMP280 digital barometric pressure sensor from Bosch, which also provides temperature readings. This sensor offers high accuracy with a pressure range of 300 to 1100 hPa and an absolute accuracy of ±1 hPa, while the relative accuracy is ±0.12 hPa. The BMP280 communicates via I2C or SPI interfaces and operates on a power supply of 1.71V to 3.6V. Additionally, the sensor can be used to estimate altitude with an accuracy of ±1 meter, leveraging the relationship between pressure and altitude.
